What information do we receive?
Contact and machine sale inquiries contain information you enter: your name, email address, optional telephone number and company name, your message and any machine details such as make, model, year and operating hours. Please do not send identity documents or other sensitive personal information.
Why do we use this information?
We use your information to answer your question, contact you and prepare or carry out a possible purchase, sale, inspection or transport request. Requests concerning an agreement are processed to take steps before or perform that agreement. For other inquiries and website security, we rely on our legitimate interest in normal business communication and a secure website.
Storage and access
Website inquiries are stored in our restricted administration and handled by authorised staff. An email notification may forward the inquiry details to our business mailboxes. If the website opens your email application, you send the message yourself through your own email provider.
Service providers and transfers
We use Vercel (hosting), Supabase (storage and administration), Cloudflare (network, security, verification and email processing) and our Microsoft 365 business email environment. These providers process information to provide their services. Some operate internationally. Where personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, applicable transfer grounds and safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, apply. You can contact us for further information. We do not sell your contact details.
Technical information and security
Network and hosting providers process technical information, such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser information and requested URLs, to deliver and secure the website. Cloudflare Turnstile checks form requests for abuse. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page use and performance without advertising profiles.
Cookies and browser storage
The website stores functional preferences, such as language and selected currency, in cookies or browser storage. Session cookies support sign-in to the private administration. Security services may use necessary verification information. This website does not use advertising cookies and currently offers no newsletter registration.
How long is information kept?
An inquiry is kept for as long as necessary to handle your question and its follow-up. When an agreement is made, information may be needed longer for administration, legal obligations or evidence of agreements. Retention depends on the purpose, content and any applicable legal retention requirements. There is no automatic deletion period configured for all inquiries. Contact us to ask whether we still hold your inquiry or to request deletion.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data. You may also request restriction or portability and object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Whether a right applies depends on the processing and any legal obligations. Send your request to sales@sv-machinery.com. We may ask for information to establish that the request comes from you. Do not send a copy of an identity document without being asked.
